Itinerary :

 

Day 1 : Arrive Ho Chi Minh City 

Welcome to Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City) – the most hectic and business city of Vietnam. In the afternoon, start the city tour at the Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. You will also visit the War Remnants Museum. Then, nearby are the colonial-styled Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks.  Have a walking tour on Nguyen Hue street to take the photos of the Opera House and the Ho Chi Minh Committee (outside). From here, walk to Ben Thanh Market one of the most typical symbol of Saigon to experience the daily life of the locals and do shopping the hand-made goods there. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 2 : Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning visit Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war used to be.  You even can try to crawl some dozens of m on the tunnel underground to have the real experience. Return to the city and enjoy your rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Day 3 : Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho – Overnight Bus

After breakfast, gear up for a road journey. Enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields.  On arrival at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Thereafter return to Ho Chi Minh City. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories. Then heading back to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy free time until your departure bus to Nha Trang. Overnight on bus.

 

Day 4 : Nha Trang 

Proceed to the Cau Da port to start the discovery coral reefs trip. Enjoy the panorama of the sea and the crystal water. Swim & snorkel to see the extraordinary coral reefs which the multi coloured fishes, the whole collection of live sea creatures in Nha Trang bay. Stop at Mot Island. At this place, you can snorkel and swim again to see the view the beautiful live coral reefs at the sea bottom. Day 5 : Nha Trang – Overnight Bus

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time until the bus departs in the evening to Hoi An. Overnight on bus.

 

Day 6 : Hoi An

The guide will pick you up at the bus stop. Do a walking tour today. Visit the ancient town when walking over the tile-roofed Japanese Bridge, visit taciturn Chinese Assembly Halls and Trading Houses, Pagodas, and stroll around the market located by Thu Bon river, you may find out the same feelings of the artists, who see the charm of Hoi An a magical old world of Oriental feel and source of inspiration. The afternoon will be at your leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

 

Day 7 : Hoi An - Hue

Depart by bus from Hoi An, passing Danang, enjoy the landscape of Hai Van (the “Ocean Cloudy Mountain Pass”) and Lang Co Beach before reaching Hue by midday. In the afternoon, discover the charm of the city on the city tour starting from the Royal Citadel, Forbidden City, Hue Royal Museum to the Dong Ba bustling market. Overnight in Hue.

 

Day 8 : Hue - Hanoi

After breakfast proceed to the airport for your flight Hanoi. The tour guide & driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport; it takes 35 minutes’ drive to the centre of Hanoi. Thereafter start the city tour from Temple of Literature, the 1st university in Vietnam then continue to Ba Dinh Square - the biggest square in Hanoi where all biggest cultural, political events of the cities for taking photos of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), visit One-Pillar Pagoda. Later have an overall view of the capital by a “cyclo” visit, which will start around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, stop at Ngoc Son Temple (outside) located on the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). Also, experience the famous egg coffee. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 9 : Hanoi – Halong Bay On Cruise

From Hanoi, head east for more than 3 hours to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddyfields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, we’ll take a big boat to cruise the Bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch of fresh seafood on board, we can visit the Grotto, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating villages and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Overnight on cruise.

 

Day 10 : Halong - Hanoi

After breakfast, enjoy the absolutely tranquil landscape and emerald water. Return to the Wharf of Halong passing the most densely area with many islands that have been named like the Cock-Fighting Rock, Sail Island, Incense burner rock or Sea Dog Rock. Arrive at Halong Wharf around 11.30. Then proceed to Hanoi center. Overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day 11 : Depart Hanoi

Today, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
